A Christian Wisdom Tradition

February 1, 2009 by jacquie-t

During the past 20 years, many people have turned their focus from the traditional Christian church and it's teachings and been searching for more profound spiritual meanings in their lives.  They became the New Age generation.  Personally, I have found Christianity as a religion to be 2 dimensional and lacking something I need.  I have to admit that the publishing of "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown hit a cord in my heart and I began to research the topic of Mary Magdalene more thoroughly.  When I finally found Tau Malachi's "The Secret Gospel of Mary Magdelene" I found the Sophians and the group I study with twice a week.  Thanks to the Sophians I've begun to recognize what has been so missing from the exoteric Christian teachings all these millenia.  I've started to recognize that Christianity has it's Wisdom Tradition the same as Judaism (Kabbalah), Muslim (Sufi), Buddhism, etc.  The balance and equality of masculine and feminine nature as a part of divinity and creation are more natural and nurturing as a part of faith.  The teachings based on the Tree of Life and progression of creation to our existence have freed me to focus more on my spiritual growth than anything else has.  My view of attained Christianity is that of a state of undescribable spirituality, not as a religion that binds with doctrine and dogma.  I feel more comfortable attending Morningstar with it's mixture of different wisdom traditions than I would a traditional church.  May the Holy Shekinah continue to bless Morningstar Center for Spiritual Living with it's shining community and wise leadership.  Amen

Qi Qong

I've had Qi Qong treatments for several years now and I know I wouldn't be alive without them. I can highly recommend the practice from a healer of your choice in addition to maintenance practices between sessions. I'd be glad to give the name of my healer to anyone who is interested and I know there are other healers available through resources available in the Morning Star Community.

Christian Kabbalah

I'm curious if there are other people who are practicing or interested in discussing Christian Kabbalah. I'm currently studying the Tradition with the Sophians.
