Moring Star Announcements

Concerning MS announcements made by members- Some members feel there should be no announcements as it breaks up the spiritual content of the service. Some feel that we should limit the number of announcements. Some feel we should have the board be notified of an announcement (so they could check the content or length). Some feel that there should be no limits and the announcements should be just what they are spontaenous and needed to be shared wirth the group at the time. Those folks see the announcements as a "community" sharing piece of the Morning Star service.
Info note - Presently, the announcements either come before the meet time and great or at the end of the service prior to the peace song.
The board in the past has asked for notification of what a person wants to announce whihc has not worked out very well. Therefore, the board wants know what MS members themselves would prefer.
So please offer yoiur views here or in email to the board or on the MS blog .
Until the next board meeting , at least, we will struggle on with the way we have been doing. Lew(Buffalo) Blockcolski
